VYBEZ & FOOTIE BRIDGING THE GAP IN THE UK UGANDAN MUSIC INDUSTRY

Vybez & Footie is an inspiring community initiative set up to bring Ugandans in the UK together.

The event founded by renowned South London Djs Bobby Juuko and Kasku is  an annual football competition that aims to unite Ugandan UK based Djs, musicians and Promoters whilst promoting a community spirit through music and football.
The event is a FREE of charge fun afternoon for all the family and friends to get together over BBQs, Picnics and games in the park but for the competitors it's ultimately all about winning the trophy.
This year's competition was between Ugandan UK Djs V Musicians/Promoters. In the end the Musicians/Promoters won it in a well contested 2-1 match.
The trophy was presented by Humphrey Kasule a representative of respected Businessman Mr. Swaley (Nile Supermarket) and Dj Billy (Pamtengo Radio) with 12 beautiful Miss uganda UK finalists handing out medals and handkerchiefs to the players.
After the games was the after party at Kampala Night. London's hottest Ugandan club night held every last Sunday of the month at Club Laface.
The organisers of the event including Dj Bobby, Kasku, VjOj and Jozy (Ladyboss) said,  "We did this to bridge the gap in the music industry not for monetary gains.  We wanted an event that unites the Ugandan community and I think we achieved that. We look forward to an even bigger event next year".
Special thanks to all our sponsors: Pamtengo Radio, Nile Supermarket, Slick Ents  , Ladyboss Productions, Jozyz Boutique, Bobby Sounds, Club Laface, First Choice productions, Sites & Sounds TV, Unikon Media Entertainment Ltd, Miss Uganda UK. The amazing teams of all the Djs, Artists and Promoters, Coaches and Referees, organising committee not forgetting the UK Ugandan community.
See you all NEXT YEAR.
