On 28 December Aydee Dumba wed his long time partner Jacqueline Matovu Musanje in a traditional Kwanjula ceremony. Jacqueline is the CEO of Miss Uganda UK and looked stunning, beautiful, stylish and happy bride.

The event was held at Pier One in South London with revellers enjoying the best of MC Moseh’s love ballads including Obwomu, Hannifah, Nalulungi and many more. You can catch Mc Moseh's next performance at the upcoming Afrigo Band concert by Grajoh in March.

ALICIA KEYS AND SWIZZ BEATZ WELCOME NEW BABY

Both Alicia and Swizzy welcomed their brand new baby boy at 1:52AM this past Saturday morning whom they named his Genesis Ali Dean.
 
The happy second time parents posted these cutest little footprints wiith a message saying... "The joy of joy is joy!! It's a boy! we are so grateful!! #blessings!!".

Congrats to these two!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM ESSANYU LYO OMWAKA

Check out some of the pictures from the line up of last Saturday's Ugandan entertainment Connection UK event dubbed Essanyu lyo' Omwaka.
The event was held at Cue Bar in east London and proved a star studded sold out celebration for patrons. Organisers and artists Rasta Sokie and Biggz Holiday of Kiyaye Life brought the house down with their tunes like ‘ Omusana gwaka, Nenkulinda notajja and Wake up Mama Africa.’ Other artists performing on the night included Goddie Bass, VJOJ, Lea HabzMarky Dan, Gental, Sister Slave, London Spec and Stella Menvu.

BLACK AFRICAN WOMEN ROCK AWARDS 2014

The inaugural Black African Women Rock awards were held on 06 December at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Woking. The awards founded by Lindani Moyo with an aim to motivate, inspire, encourage and support women to follow their dreams. The event was well attended by various industry personalities and positive role models in the community who shared their success and inspiring stories over a scrumptious dinner, entertainment and poetry.
