HOLLYWOOD MAKE WAY FOR JOHN BOYEGA

There's a new star on the rise and his name is John Boyega.  He went from unknown actor to superstar-in-the-making thanks to his leading role in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens and now the young Denzel Washington look alike actor has bagged the coveted EE Rising Star award at the BAFTAs.

Boyega's acceptance speech was  full of promise for other up and comers to whom he dedicate his award saying 'First and foremost I want to thank God for this moment.

'Guys, I haven't been doing this for a long time, it's a fluke! I'm gonna share this award with all the young dreamers who are determined, who are hard working, who are quite frankly amazing. This is also for you. Blessings for your path and God bless.' 

What a gent! Congrats to you John!

 

RHIANNA SHINES AT PERFORMANCE TO HONOUR LIONEL RICHIE

A little weight gain never hurt anyone just look at these pictures of  a fuller Riri  as she showed up to a performance in honour of her idol Lionel Richie. We all have to deal with constant yo yo weight as women but I must add this is the best she's ever looked for me, embracing her curves and ad her own hair.

Next up for the busy div who is currently promoting her latest album ANTI  is a performance on the biggest stage in music, the Grammy Awards. Yes please girly!

 

YEEZY SEASON 3 TAKES OVER MADISON SQUAARE GARDENS

All the excitement possible and of course a few surprises were in the mix for fashion lovers and guests who attend Kanye's fashion show for New York Fashion Week at Madison Square Gardens. First off, proud to see Ugandan girl and Africa's Next Top Model Aamito Lagum in the mix amongst all the fashion OG's like Liya Kibede, Naomi Campbell, Alek Wek and so many more. Vogue's Anna Wintour was a guest (so hot). Black people mingled with white  people, this was no #oscarssowhite. North looked cute as a button and Kim K West morphed into her namesake Lil Kim.
We also spotted Khloe's estranged husband Lamar who must be feeling a lot better after a drug overdose in October last year. Bruce is now Cait and she rocked that Yeezy dress just like the best of them Kardashian - Jenners. Good to see this family supporting each  other and didanyone notice Kanye's tribute to his late mother Donda West and father in-law Robert Kardashian? He wore a T-shirt with their images front and back. So touching!
Anyway, the real show had its dramas as is expected of a Kanye show i.e the bizzare To do list for the models .....ha! It was a damn essay. Then there was the bizzare staging straight outta refugee camp. And of course the clothing, if you wanna dress like a homeless person this is your man and best get to your nearest designer stockists for your Yeezy 3 garbs.
