Kitenge Festival UK is a non-profit community body which aims to promote African fashion, culture, business & the arts in the UK. Sponsored by The Voice Newspaper the one-day annual event is a unique platform which showcases Africa’s valuable, distinctive and unique heritage in a carnival/celebration atmosphere whilst instilling a sense of African pride. Our goal is to bring together communities and small businesses under one roof bridging cultural gaps. The event is designed to appeal to taste makers that take active roles in setting unique standard for style, cultural trends within the African Community in the UK. Organised by founder and CEO, Jo Nganda and her team, Kitenge Festival UK 2018 was once again a great success. The 6th edition of Kitenge Festival UK took place on Saturday, August 11th, 2018, at London Irish Centre, Camden Square, London and saw in attendance fashion lovers, exhibitors and important personalities in the UK African communities.Hosted by popular entertainment host, MCee Cole, and attended by the likes of Queen Epi Mabike and more,  the indoor annual fashion event this year displayed colourful accessories and everything African from fashion, to jewellery, art, hair, beauty products and the list goes on. Kitenge Festival UK Rejuvenates Culture whilst instilling a sense of African pride’ Said Jo Nganda Founder!
