Founded by human rights campaigner Lisette Mibo, the event is an annual fundraising fashion showcase highlighting the crisis in Congo and celebrating Congolese culture . This year, the night will raise money for Menelik Education, a charity that works in the United Kingdom and the Democratic Republic of Congo to ensure that vulnerable children, and young women in particular, have access to the educational, emotional and social care and opportunities they need to lead happy, healthy lives.
