Last Friday I attended my friend Pauline Long's charity fundraising dinner and birthday party in aid of post war amputees and their children in Sierra Leone. Pauline is BEFFTA Awards founder and patron for the charity
Melqosh Mission International who do an amazing job providing care and basic needs for the amputees. It was a wonderful night and guests were treated to dinner, fashion shows, live music and lyrical poetry. There was also an auction for CNN Hero and Girl Child Network founder Betty Makoni's book "Never Again". Giving back to great causes in our community is always worthwhile.
