PROFILE ON KIYAAYE LIFE CREW: RASTA SOKE & BIGGZ HOLIDAY

"Abayaaye" aka "Kiyaaye crew" consists of two artists i.e. Biggz Holiday, Rasta Soke both of Ugandan descent and UK based. Individually they are both phenomenal talents, humanitarians and entrepreneurs.












Biggz Holiday is the gentle giant and founded Kiyaaye Life Movement and Lifestyle brand that represents an African urban culture trough Music, Clothing and Sports.


Rasta Soke aka Muhammad Musoke is an ex international footballer and n former captain of the national team Uganda Cranes. He has also opened a studio in his hometown Kawempe called Sokiddo Production that works along side Gstreetwise studios in London to promote local Ugandan talent and has already produced hits like A Million times.

























They have been recording in London with Gstreetwise studios and have recently released an Afro Beats album titled MAMA AFRICA. The album is part autobiographical and touches on real life issues from their life and surroundings with songs like 'Mama Africa' which urges Africans to wake up and support their own suffering children of Africa. 'Tugezaako' is another uplifting song that urges eveyone to do their best to make it. All the rsongs on this album have been produced by Platinum JC and Hgbeats of Gstreetwise studios. The crew have been nominated various awards, recently was BEFFTA awards 2016 for UK best male African act and have performed on various concert in the UK especially in the African community.
Both artists are keen humanitarian and founded a charitabhle organisation the KIYAAYE LIFE CHARITY that helps street children and orphans by supplying clothes, paying for education, and sports facilities alongside SOKIDDO FOUNDATION. They give 90% of proceeds from their music on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and sales from their clothing brand to these charitable organisations and have been a constant support as volunteers to the HOPE ALIVE MISSION founded by Jo Nganda (Ladyboss) through FREE annual performances for sometime now.
"Our message is a simple one be proud who you are and where you come from and also aim to send a message to the world from all suppressed voices of people from unprivileged backgrounds that every one do it if you put your head to it. Don't be afraid to show your life style and culture. Ffe tuli bayaaye! Africans with Attitudes.

UBUNTU NIGHTS FIRST RED CUP PARTY

The first Ubuntu Nights RedCup Party went down last Saturday 25th October at  PierOne Nightspot, Woolwich High Street in South London. All UK - UG Entertainment fraternity came out in full force to support birthday boy Promoter and Stylist to the stars Timothy Rukundo a.k.a T-Moh who was celebrating his birthday. 

If you have to cross the river Thames as I did to get  to this venue it's well worth the effort as we were entertained by the phenomenal Dj Mac Pro, Dj Shots and Dj Shady.
