IN SAD NEWS: FORMER NTV NEWS REPORTER ROSEMARY DEAD

NTV News reporter Rosemary Nankabirwa succumbs to cancer. 

The 35 year old was pronounced dead at the AghaKhan hospital in Nairobi, Kenya where she had been transferred for further treatment, her former employer NTV reported.
“Rosemary Nankabirwa has been pulled off life support. Her family has confirmed that she has passed on. May her soul rest in peace.”

NTV spearheaded a fundraising drive to raise money for specialised treatment for their former colleague with the initiatives including a car-washing exercise at the Kampala Serena Hotel. Over all the initiatives raised over Shs100 million, which was needed for specialised treatment.

Another young life cut short by cancer. My sympathies and prayers for Rosemary friends and family.

Fashion designer and Mick Jagger girlfriend L'Wren Scott found dead in New York

Fashion designer L'Wren Scott, the girlfriend of Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, was found dead in her New York apartment on Monday from an apparent suicide.

Scott, 47, a former model whose timeless style, modern, classic and sexy fashions were favourites among A-List Hollywood stars such as Nicole Kidman, was found hanging from a scarf in her apartment in the morning.

Police confirmed that a female was found "unconscious and unresponsive" in an apartment building on 11th Avenue in Manhattan.

A spokesperson for Jagger said he is "completely shocked and devastated" by the news. The pair have been dating for several years.
