Kate Middleton, Duchess Of Cambridge, Wears Her Favourite Designer Alexander McQueen For Memorial Service In New Zealand

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, opted for her favourite designer as she and Prince William paid their respects to war veterans at a memorial service on day four of theRoyal Tour of New Zealand and Australia.

The young royal wore a military blue coat by Alexander McQueen to visit the town of Blenheim. It's the same British label she picked to design her stunning lace wedding dress and is a brand she has worn on so many official occasions.

Kate teamed her sky blue dress coat with navy suede courts and a matching clutch. She looked nothing but regal as she laid a wreath in the memory of New Zealanders who lost their lives in war.

She accessorised with statement earrings which matched her engagement ring - the very same prince Charles proposed to William's late mother Diana the Princess of Waleswith in 1981 - perfectly.

Victoria Beckham nominated for two British Fashion Awards

Victoria Beckham's fashion career goes from strength to strength what with a top selling clothing line and hotly tipped website. The hardworking fashionista, wife and mother has a self confessed no sleep necessary work ethic which is probably part of why we all love her. Our girl has bagged two nominations from the British Fashion Awards for the Red Carpet Award which gives recognition to a British designer who is creating global awareness of their designs in the media and the Brand Of The Year.

She faces stiff competition from Burberry and Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons of Dior for top international designer but we think this is her moment.

More than 300 industry insiders choose the winners, who will be announced on December 2 at a ceremony at the London Coliseum.

Goodluck Posh. Go get em!
