DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT: Eguana Spring/Summer 2014 "The Sounds of Rio" collection
Jozyz checked out Ugandan label Eguana Kampala S/S 14 "The Sounds of Rio" collection Showcased at Baltimore fashion week.
Ugandan designer Emmanuel Bagwana caught up with Jozyz to let us know the inspiration behind his internationally acclaimed collection to date.
"The collection was inspired by the music and people of Brazil. I find so much similarity between the Brazilians and us Africans. I used lots of bright colours and bold prints mixing lots of Ankara prints with cotton, satin and chiffon. All these give the illusion of a sunny, colourful fun spirited culture. I hope people will appreciate that"
