PROFILE OF MAGDALENE ADENAIKE

Magdalene Adenaike confirmed guest speaker at An Evening of Hope charity fundraising event on 30th November at the Batteries Barge in London.

Magdalene Adenaike is a purpose driven individual whose desire is to see everyone living life to their fullest capacity. Her greatest passion is assisting women and youths unearth their ‘why’. Magdalene is no stranger to struggles as she became a mom in her teen years. The personal experiences she gained in that situation, and her expertise as a singer and songwriter synchronized beautifully thus birthingMusic ReliefMusic Relief runs music as therapy workshop programmes that provides a fertile environment for youths who are marginalised and from disadvantaged backgrounds within the society, building confidence and self-esteem to blossom into actualized individuals.

Magdalene facilitates mentoring programmes for women who are seeking to start their own businesses within the education, corporate and voluntary sectors and strives to continue creating platforms where others are able to share their stories and be empowered. Her online radio show, Deep Truths, reaches beyond the airwaves to the yearning hearts of listeners across the UK and (wherever else your listeners tune in from), offering inspiration and opportunities for reflection.

Magdalene’s work includesReDiscovery, an inspirational album with songs that offer a message of hopeand her book From Shame to Strength; Music Saved Me and as a co-author of the forthcoming book Pain to Purpose Anthology.

Magdalene holds a BA Hons in Music Industry Management from the University of East London and has recently completed a professional Business Enterprise course. She’s a fellow at the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, RSA and an honoured member of Bristol’s Who’s Who. Additionally, she’s the recipient of several prestigious awards such as theBe Mogul 2016 awards which recognizes the contributions of entrepreneurs of African and Caribbean origin, the Social Enterprise Award and the Haberdashers Company Enterprise Award from the University of East London.  

Magdalene believes that we can change the world one person at a time. With this in mind, she pledges to evolve in her contribution to such change.

ON AIR WITH GRACIE ON COLOURFUL RADIO FROM 12PM TODAY

I will be live on Colourful radio this Good Friday from 12pm chatting to Gracie about the upcoming Life and Hope Uganda Charity Fundraising Event and the fantastic health cause and drive to train people in rural and remote areas in Uganda without hospitals First Aid skills. Henry Atwooki Lutaaya To Run The London Marathon In Aid Of Charity Chickenshed

My Henry Atwooki Lutaaya is taking part in this year's Virgin Money London Marathon to raise money for the charity Chickenshed. Chickenshed is a Theatre company that creates entertaining and outstanding theatre that celebrates diversity and inspires positive change. 

This year's London Marathon will take place on Sunday April 13, 2014.

The Virgin London Marathon is a celebratory sporting festival that attracts professional athletes, enthusiastic joggers and costume-wearing charity fundraisers alike. The 26 mile 385 yards race is run near the River Thames.

Pauline Long's Birthday Fundraiser Dinner In Aid Of Seirra Leone's Post War Amputees

Last Friday I attended my friend Pauline Long's charity fundraising dinner and birthday party in aid of post war amputees and their children in Sierra Leone. Pauline is BEFFTA Awards founder and patron for the charity Melqosh Mission International who do an amazing job providing care and basic needs for  the amputees. It was a wonderful night and guests were treated to dinner, fashion shows, live music and lyrical poetry. There was also an auction for CNN Hero and Girl Child Network founder Betty Makoni's book "Never Again". Giving back to great causes in our community is always worthwhile.
