OBAMA GIRLS IN LONDON

The first lady Michelle Obama is in London and brought along her beautiful daughters and mother for the ride. When did they grow up? The young ladies look absolutely fabulous in their colorful dresses. Michelle was snapped at Downing Street with the Prime minister and his wife and then snapped at a secondary school motivating students.

Can't wait to see what else is on agenda for this visit.

PHOTOS FROM LAST SATURDAY'S SURPRISE SURPRISE SHOW

Ugandans in London are enjoying a surge in local and home talent shows and concerts and last weekend saw the biggest show to date dubbed SURPRISE SURPRISE. Organised by Dan Luwuge and sponsored by London Businessman Jose Kigundu this was by far the largest show of its nature with UK's biggest names Rasta Soke and Biggz Holiday, Marky Dan,  Fyonna Nsubuga,  Paddy Dee Nangabo on the bill. Artists brought in from Uganda included King Saha, Mary Bata, Gravity Out unjust,  Khalifa Aganaga, King Kong amongst others.  The Ugandan Entertainment Connection UK was well represented too with renowned DJs Mac and Billy on decks.  Our oromoters do a massive job bringing such talent to our shores and a lot of investment goes into promoting such shows so it's refreshing to see a show that goes to plan for the betterment of our community and enjoyment. This is a growing industry with fans at the forefront of our entertainment industry and as long as organisers and promoters continue to deliver value for money, the fans are happy campers and all are WINNING!

Checkout the some of the photos from the night.

SUMMER TRAVELS: INDIA

I am in India for my girl Shagun’s wedding and much needed rest and relaxation.  As my vacation and tour of India kicks off Friday 05 June, on arrival to the country’s capital Mumbai Airport I was picked up by the beautiful soon to be newlyweds Bolly and Shagun and ushered to the plush, chic and very elegant The Leela Mumbai hotel. With its undeniably spectacular location, The Leela Mumbai offers the best that the city has to offer. During our stay, we took in the resort’s gorgeous views and luxurious surroundings. Everything that The Leela Mumbai houses was spectacular from the bars and restaurants. We had a pleasant stay combining comfort food and globally inspired dishes. I managed some Saree shopping because I plan to immerse myself in the Indian culture, food and lifestyle so bring on the festivities.

Next stop GOA for the wedding!
