COMING SOON! 8th Kitenge Festival UK 2020

The 8th Kitenge Festival UK 2020 in association with St Michael and All Angels Church is making its return to London and we’d absolutely love for you to come along for a magical event showcasing Africa’s valuable, distinctive and unique heritage in a carnival/celebration atmosphere whilst instilling a sense of African pride.
Our goal is to bring together communities and small businesses under one roof bridging cultural gaps. 

What’s more, we’ve got a stellar line-up of speakers, performances, influencers and designers all live on stage. We can’t wait to see you there!

7TH KITENGE FESTIVAL UK 2019 LIMITED EARLY BIRD STALLS MUST END 31 DECEMBER SO DON’T BE LEFT OUT!!!

This event promotes African business,education, Fashion and heritage returns for the 7th Anniversary. 

The event provides businesses and all affiliated companies with exceptional brand exposure and awareness amongst the African community. Naturally, brands will benefit by association. In addition, they will enjoy a direct route to our community on the day itself, as well as pre- and post-event extensive advertising, marketing and public relations activities.

This is a family event to come and network and mingle with guests and vendors in our community. This event will feature great live performances, dance, competitions, awards program, networking, product sampling, fashion stalls, drum, poetry, fashion shows and traditional craft displays.

MS BANKS RELEASES THE COLDEST WINTER EVER


She has been shortlisted by NME Magazine as the one to watch this year and Ms Banks has not disappointed. So far this Ugandan British grime artist has toured Asia and has just released her much anticipated album the Coldest Winter Ever! Check it out on iTunes and makeup your own mind. For now Tyra as she is affectionately called by her mother is preparing for the Wireless Festival. Whew! Busy young lady!

I was invited the to the Hair Care Revolution Wakanda event on Saturday 28th in Waterloo. This was a really well organised event with music, market stalls and even hair care seminars. This was the second in the series and I cannot wait for the next one.

6TH KITENGE FESTIVAL UK

The 6th Kitenge Festival UK will be held in London on the 11 August 2018. The day long celebrations is a family affair with plenty of activities.

Kitenge Festival UK is a non-profit community body which aims to promote African fashion, culture, business & the arts in the UK. The one day event is a unique platform which showcases Africa’s valuable, distinctive and unique heritage in a carnival/celebration atmosphere whilst instilling a sense of African pride. In its 6th year now, the event has grown exponentially and has become a major cultural event drawing local and international crowds. It is designed to appeal to influential figures, community leaders, movers and shakers, taste makers that take active roles in setting the mould for style, cultural trends and overall ingenuity within the African Community and the general public in the UK.

Last eventOur last event saw us celebrate our 5th anniversary making it the biggest in the series so far. The event attracted over 800 registered to attendees, 70 vendors & Stalls, 10 Food vendors, 11 local and international Designer fashion showcase.
