London’s premier African cultural event, Kitenge Festival UK will celebrate its 4th anniversary in style with Salabed signing up as a partner for the forthcoming celebrations on 25th June 2016 at the 2000 capacity Barking Football Club stadium. We are excited to be partnering with the most respected cargo business given its importance to the community and its reputation both nationally and globally. The tie-up will underline the growing importance of Kitenge Festival UK and its appeal on the global cultural calendar. We are now finalising the details of this summer’s program, which is sure to offer something for everyone especially for those who seek a great reason to relax, eat and be entertained during the all day festival. Visitors travel from within the UK and overseas for the festival which provides a real boost to all participating businesses. We are very proud to be supported by this outstanding organization. We hope that this is the start of a very long and happy partnership.

The music event will feature a line-up of young high-flying Ugandan artists including Winnie Nwangi, Apass, Nince Henry, Don MC, Samo Kagaati and Leah Habz with showbiz and fashion blogger and PR guru ‘Lady Boss’ Jozy hosting. “We are delighted to be working with one of the longest serving Ugandan music promoters in UK especially with such great young talent on the line-up and are proud to have been entrusted with this role. UGANDAN CONVENTION UK WITH RADIO AND WEASEL
I had the pleasure of meeting Africa's finest musicians and Uganda's sons Radio and Weasel ahead of their performance at the Ugandan Convention on Saturday. The boys were chilling with the Kiyaye life crew and we're being fitted by stylist Timothy Rukundo of the Real Knows Real clothing label. We spent the afternoon watching football and Bukedde TV. No airs just two very down to earth super stars.
