Happy Birthday Tina Turner, Rock On Girl! (November 26, 1939)

 Turner was born Anna Mae Bullock on Nov. 26, 1939 in Tennessee. She is the daughter of a factory worker and deacon.  She paved the way for many of our fave artists to date. Take a look at some of  Miss Tina's pictures over the years and you will spot your fave artist somewhere in there so clearly without Tina there'd be no you know whos.

Besides her powerful vocals, Turner is also known for her styling wigs, sexy and toned legs, and show-stooping stage outfits that include miniskirts, bedazzled short dresses and various leather wears. Rolling Stone has called her one of the greatest singers of all time.
