INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY STEP UP FOR CHANGE

JCI Greenwich will Step Up for Change for International Women’s Day 2019. 

This year’s theme #Balance4Better will focus on innovative ways in which we can advance gender equality and the empowerment of women, particularly in the areas of social protection systems, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure.

We will be joined by a panel of industry leaders, game-changing start-ups, social entrepreneurs, gender equality activists, and women innovators to examine the ways in which innovation can remove barriers and accelerate progress for gender equality, encourage investment in gender-responsive social systems, and build services and infrastructure that meet the needs of women and girls. 

On 05 April 2019, join us as we celebrate a future in which we creates unprecedented opportunities for women and girls to play an active role in building more inclusive and efficient services to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs and gender equality.

HOPE ALIVE MISSION CHARITY EVENT

The annual community charity event organised by Jo Nganda is back on 30 November 2016, 6pm at the Vattersea Barge in benefit of  abused women and children charities in the UK and Uganda.
This year's event has a fantastic line up including Evita musical and theatre sensation Madalena Alberto, X Factor star Marianna Zappi, Mobo Unsung Lady Marga MC, Bianca Smith, Kiyaye Life Crew and Wool Betah Soulja.
Guests will also enjoy a Silent and Live Auction, Raffle Draw and fashion showcase by Sistarmama and M clothing and comedy sets from international stand up comedian Katharine Ferns. The event organised by Jozyz Media is a key annual event that supports the work Jo Nganda (Founder) does to support abused Women & Children’s Charities in the UK and Africa with a focus on helping individuals to create a positive change for people in their communities or organisations.
Mary Mambwa (JCI Greenwich Youth Leader) and a host of award winning motivational speakers and domestic violence survivors have been lined up including Magdalene Adeneike (Music Relief), Lady Waynett Peters (Founder, The Extra ordinary Achievers) and Zina Arinze (Author, Purpose after Abuse and Divorce.
