Fashion designer Kwame Koranteng launched  his new collection and also celebrated 5 years of Rock the Runway.

AFRICAN WOMEN'S DINNER 2016

The second edition of the African Women's Dinner in celebration of WOMAN was held on the 5th March at 8 Northumberland Avenue, London, WC2N 5BY. I attended this magnificent event which kick  started the International Women's Day celebration and was so in awe with the team that put together this awesome event but also the guests beautiful African women young and old who came out in  droves to celebrate each other and the achievements of women over the past 100 years. This year's event was coupled with a full day Business Expo with exhibition stalls from African Businesses, fashion shows, a charity auction and a 3 course dinner. The event was hosted by Nollywood multi talented actor Ade Bello and guests listened to inspirational guest speakers such as Sherry Ann Dixon, Queen Na, Lydia Tett Olet and a word from the founder Sheila Gatonye.

The charity auction was held by myself Jo Nganda and Ms Juliet Makhapila with all proceeds raised to go to the Anne Wafula Foundation for the disabled.
