2015 Essence Black Women in Music

Just in time for the Grammy Awards, Essence celebrated the accomplishments of rising stars and established influencers in the music industry with the sixth annual Black Women In Music event.

The event featured performances by honoree Jill Scott, with additional appearances by Chaka Khan, Brandy, Leona Lewis and many more.

HITS AND MISSES FROM 2014 AFRICA MAGIC VIEWERS' CHOICE AWARDS (AMVCA)

The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) were held in Lagos on March 8, 2014 featured 26 categories of awards. The awards acknowledge and celebrate the contribution made by Pan African filmmakers, actors and technicians in the success of the continent's film and television industry. 

The organisers did a good job putting on what's been hailed a successful event billed as Africa's Oscars but we check style from the stars.
