The event organised by Fortune Kaburame saw guests celebrate birthday parties and wedding anniversaries. Guests also enjoyed a bufeft dinner and drinks, a great London skyline and entertainment by dj Shady, Kuklee and many more.

I've been summoned to the plush Hotel Cafe Royale for a brief catch up with my my dear friend Sue O'Chola De Roy. While I've been busy over the past few months organising the 5th Kitenge Festival UK which took place on the 12th August at Newham Leisure Centre, my dear Ugandan based friend Sue revealed an exciting secret she had been keeping to herself. She has been working on a 30 piece collection her first ever which she aimed at showcasing at the Kitenge Festival UK in London. I immediately believed her as she practically lives in the African print fabric but i was super excited mostly because she chose my event in London to launch her fashion career. We set about to work on our individual projects encouraging each other and for those of you who were lucky to attend the hugely successful FREE festival you were in for a treat. We have reliably learned the collection has now SOLD OUT! Not bad at all for a first timer. Look out for some exciting new business ventures from this busy lady. My time is up! As we hug and blow air kisses she tells me she's off Stateside to unwind but not before her loyal sidekick Zak whisked her off in a black cab to afternoon tea at Conrad Hotel, St. James'.
