The event was held on 02 October at the iconic Cadogan Hall in London.  The awards promote a positive image of women by recognising dynamic role models as well as raising money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

BEFFTA award winner, dynamic gospel artiste, singer, song writer and music producer Myco Chris on 28 September hosted friends at The Hippodrome (El Shaddai Christian Centre) in his first ever live recording of his "Totally Set Free" gospel album. Myco performed his new tracks to an energetic and packed audience that filled the Hippodrome. He was supported by a live band and an impressive line up of leading award winning gospel acts from various churches including his wife Gwendolyn Mukulu Chris, Atta Boafo, Aaron T Aaron, Natasha Campbell, Faithchild and Wole Awolola.
