2014 PASSION FOR MOTHERLAND SHOWCASE

Friday 22 August was all about a vibrant night of live music, fashion and poetry with my colleagues from charities, musicians, fashion designers, comedians, poets and creatives from across the UK conveerging at the Cre8 Centre in London for the 2nd annual Passion For Motherland 2014 Fashion showcase.

Founded by human rights campaigner Lisette Mibo, the event is an annual fundraising fashion showcase highlighting the crisis in Congo and celebrating Congolese culture . This year, the night will raise money for Menelik Education, a charity that works in the United Kingdom and the Democratic Republic of Congo to ensure that vulnerable children, and young women in particular, have access to the educational, emotional and social care and opportunities they need to lead happy, healthy lives.

Reliable sources have confirmed Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have tied the knot. The celebrity couple were married in France on 23 August.
